Panel welder • Worth County, Missouri

Vacancy available: we are hiring a panel welder in Worth County, Missouri. Day-to-day duties: • Lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints • Clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead • Grind back and re-weld any defective runs • Set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness • Maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose • Tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing You should have: • Able to read weld symbols and fabrication drawings • ITI in welder trade or equivalent • Able to pass a 3G/4G plate test Full-time with occasional weekends.
