Conventional mill operator wanted in Lake County

Now hiring: we are hiring a conventional mill operator in Lake County, Colorado. You will be based in a CNC machining unit. Your main tasks: • Mount workpieces in machine vices, clamps and fixtures and check for square • Select and fit end mills, face mills and slot drills into collets and arbors • Read engineering drawings and GD&T to plan the machining sequence • Monitor tool wear and change blunt inserts and cutters • Load and edit CNC programs (G-code) at the Fanuc/Siemens control • Machine slots, pockets, flats, keyways and contours to drawing You should have: • Physically fit to stand and lift workpieces • Good eyesight and steady hands for close-tolerance work 3+ years on the tools preferred.
