Great opportunity: we are hiring a pipe TIG welder in Clay County, Kansas. Day to day you will set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks; tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run; clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush; grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish; feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool. Ideal candidate: • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection Full-time, day shift.
