Window glazier • Johnson County, Iowa

We are recruiting: we are hiring a window glazier in Johnson County, Iowa. The job is at a busy uPVC fabrication workshop. You will fit espagnolette locking gear, friction hinges, handles and keeps to the sash; cut and weld mullions and transoms into the frame; rout lock and hardware pockets with the copy router; glaze the double-glazed units, set the packers and bed the glass square; fit fly screens, sills and trickle vents; install finished windows and doors, pack and anchor-fix them, then foam and silicone the perimeter. You should have: • Able to read cutting lists and fabrication drawings • 2+ years' experience fabricating uPVC windows and doors • Knowledge of common hardware systems such as espagnolette and friction hinges Six days a week, one day off.
