On a typical shift you will install finished windows and doors, pack and anchor-fix them, then foam and silicone the perimeter; read the cutting list and optimisation sheet and label each profile; fuse-weld frame and sash corners on the welding machine and check the weld seam; cut and weld mullions and transoms into the frame; glaze the double-glazed units, set the packers and bed the glass square. You should have: • An eye for finish — no scratches, clean welds, flush beads • Knowledge of common hardware systems such as espagnolette and friction hinges • Comfortable handling and lifting glazed units safely 4+ years on the tools preferred.
