Single needle operator — Perry County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a single needle operator in Perry County, Indiana. The job is in a sampling and tailoring workshop. On the job you will handle: • Set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers • Topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish • Attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet • Sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required • Change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation • Meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality Ideal candidate: • Can hit the daily piece-rate target consistently • Good eyesight and steady hands for fine, accurate stitching • Hands-on with single needle, overlock and flatlock machines At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. Six days a week, one day off. Performance bonus on top of base pay. $3,700 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Contact us to fix an interview.
