Urgent requirement: we are hiring an ironing operator in Kenosha County, Wisconsin. The job is in a tailoring workshop. Day-to-day duties: • Remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron • Check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots • Meet the daily piece target without damaging garments • Fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press • Give each garment a final press before packing You should have: • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep • Physically fit to lift bundles and handle repetitive work 3+ years on the tools preferred.
