You should have: • Physically fit and comfortable working at height • Punctual and ready to do overtime when a pour demands it • Wear safety helmet, boots and gloves at all times The role involves: • Backfill and ram down soil around the foundations • Cure freshly laid concrete by sprinkling water for several days • Hand tools and materials up to workers on the upper floors • Mix concrete and mortar to the correct ratio, by hand or in a pan mixer • Break out old walls and concrete with a jackhammer breaker 2+ years on the tools preferred.
