Gtaw welder — Warren County

Now hiring: we are hiring a gtaw welder in Warren County, Iowa. You will be based in a food and dairy equipment factory. On a typical shift you will back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring); feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle; inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion; select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job. You should have: • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight Full-time with occasional weekends.
