Great opportunity: we are hiring a blocklayer in Monroe County, Alabama. What we are looking for: • NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage • CSCS card or willingness to obtain one The role involves: • Checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod • Building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation • Setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge • Pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints • Building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
