Bread and bun maker wanted in Shelby County

Join our team: we are hiring a bread and bun maker in Shelby County, Alabama. You will work at a cake shop. The role involves grease and clean baking trays, tins and moulds; load and unload the deck oven with a peel; proof and fry doughnuts, then glaze them; weigh and mix flour, yeast, water and salt to the day's recipe; prove dough in the proofer at the right temperature and humidity; shape loaves, rolls, baguettes and buns by hand. Ideal candidate: • Able to work early-morning and night shifts • Able to stand for long hours in a hot kitchen • Accurate at weighing and following recipes Full-time with occasional weekends.
