Cnc setter-operator • Wood County, Texas

Vacancy available: we are hiring a cnc setter-operator in Wood County, Texas. You will be based at a busy machine shop. What we are looking for: • Able to hold tolerances to ±0.01 mm • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts • ITI / NCVT certificate in the machinist (turner) trade preferred Your main tasks: • Deburr and chamfer machined parts by hand • Check diameters and lengths against the spec sheet • Set tool offsets and establish work zero (G54) • Write and edit G-code programs at the control • Adjust feeds and speeds to control the surface finish • Measure finished parts with micrometers and vernier calipers At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. $3,900 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
