Lifting rigger — Oconee County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a lifting rigger in Oconee County, Georgia. You should have: • Sharp eye for safety and hazard awareness • Ability to read lift plans and rigging diagrams • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear You will secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists; inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use; take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings; coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller; check sling angles to stay within the working load limit; rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position. 3+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time with occasional weekends. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Walk-in interviews this week.
