Immediate opening: we are hiring a container truck driver in Washington County, Rhode Island. You will be based at a logistics warehouse. On a typical shift you will keep a safe following distance, adjusting for weather and load; operate tail-lifts and pump trucks during loading and unloading; secure loads with ratchet straps, chains and load bars; plan routes and rest stops in line with driving-hours rules; couple and uncouple the trailer and check the fifth-wheel lock; check load weight and axle distribution against permitted limits. What we are looking for: • Valid HGV/LGV Class 1 (C+E) licence • Willing to take on night and multi-day trips 4+ years on the tools preferred. We offer $5,200 per month plus benefits.
