Rebar installer — Dillingham Census Area

Great opportunity: we are hiring a rebar installer in Dillingham Census Area, Alaska. The job is on an infrastructure project such as a metro or flyover. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long spells bending and kneeling • Willing to work outdoors in all weather and to tight pour dates • Own basic tools such as pliers, tie hook, tape and level You will lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman; fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover; lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors; set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift; check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour; cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder. At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. Pay around $15 per hour, based on your experience. Rotating shifts. Contact us to fix an interview.
