Framing carpenter wanted in Clare County

Now hiring: we are hiring a framing carpenter in Clare County, Michigan. The job is at a shopfitting company. On a typical shift you will erect formwork and shuttering for concrete pours; glue, clamp, screw and dowel joints together; plane and sand timber to a smooth, square finish; build and erect roof trusses, rafters and stud partitions; hang internal and external doors, fitting hinges, locks and handles. What we are looking for: • NVQ Level 2/3 in Carpentry and Joinery or equivalent • Sound knowledge of timber types, grades and fixings 3+ years on the tools preferred. Rotating shifts.
