Vacancy available: we are hiring a system scaffolder in Hempstead County, Arkansas. You will be based at a shipyard. On a typical shift you will lay scaffold boards and secure them with board retaining clips; read scaffold drawings and work to the agreed loading class; dismantle the scaffold in reverse sequence and lower materials safely; install ladder access and ladder gates between the lifts; set out base plates and sole boards on firm, level ground; handle, sort and stack tubes and fittings for loading out. Ideal candidate: • Able to read basic scaffold drawings • Knowledge of safe loading, bracing and tie patterns • Physically fit for repeated heavy lifting of tubes and boards At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. $6,750 per project, negotiable for the right hands.
