Immediate opening: we are hiring a HSE supervisor in Bebeji, Kano State. Requirements: • Valid first aid and basic firefighting training • Confident enough to halt unsafe work on the spot • Physically fit for full-site inspections on foot The role involves: • Verify lifting gear, slings, shackles and crane test certificates • Run the permit-to-work system for hot work and confined-space entry • Record accident statistics and keep the safety logbook up to date • Carry out toolbox talks with the crew before each shift • Run fire drills and check extinguishers, hydrants and alarm points • Check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. ₦275,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
