Join our team: we are hiring a heavy equipment operator in Mason County, Michigan. You will work at a stone quarry. Ideal candidate: • Willing to work at remote sites and mines on a roster • Knowledge of pre-start inspections and basic machine maintenance Your main tasks: • Carry out daily pre-start checks on engine oil, coolant, hydraulic fluid and track tension • Backfill and compact soil around pipes and foundations • Level and grade the road sub-base to the surveyor's pegs and string lines • Work in coordination with the banksman and ground crew on signals We offer $4,300 per month plus benefits.
