CNC programmer-operator • Hancock County, West Virginia

Now hiring: we are hiring a CNC programmer-operator in Hancock County, West Virginia. You will be based at a precision engineering workshop. Day-to-day duties: • Set up and operate vertical and horizontal milling machines • Deburr and finish machined edges with files and emery • Apply cutting coolant and clear swarf from the machine bed • Mount workpieces in machine vices, clamps and fixtures and check for square • Measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges • Carry out daily lubrication and routine machine maintenance Ideal candidate: • ITI/NCVT certificate in machinist or turner trade • Able to grind and set HSS cutters Full-time with occasional weekends.
