Pressman — Clark County

Now hiring: we are hiring a pressman in Clark County, Kansas. You will work at a textile finishing unit. The role involves: • Set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics • Operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments • Spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts • Meet the daily piece target without damaging garments • Sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number • Give each garment a final press before packing You should have: • Able to keep pace with line speed and piece targets • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
