Elevator technician — Iron County

Now hiring: we are hiring an elevator technician in Iron County, Wisconsin. The job is on a lift modernisation project. The role involves: • Set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear • Wire up the controller, encoder and limit switches • Test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake • Top up the oil and bleed the cylinder on hydraulic lifts • Rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables • Adjust door operator timing and re-levelling accuracy Ideal candidate: • Willing to join the on-call/emergency breakdown rota • Ability to read electrical and wiring schematics • Comfortable working at height and in confined hoistways Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
