Vacancy available: sample machinist (California)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a sample machinist in Tulare County, California. You will be based on an export house sewing floor. The role involves: • Meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality • Attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet • Thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension • Sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required • Inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes • Trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go You should have: • Comfortable working long hours seated at a fast line • Good eyesight and steady hands for fine, accurate stitching 4+ years on the tools preferred.
