Lift technician wanted in Baldwin County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a lift technician in Baldwin County, Alabama. You will be based in a machine room on the rooftop. Your main tasks: • Test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake • Fault-find control circuits with a multimeter and test instruments • Service the traction motor, brake and gearbox • Replace worn sheaves, rollers, contactors and relays • Wire up the controller, encoder and limit switches Requirements: • Ability to read electrical and wiring schematics • Comfortable working at height and in confined hoistways Rotating shifts. $24 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
