Semi-automatic welder — Talbot County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a semi-automatic welder in Talbot County, Maryland. Ideal candidate: • Steady hand and good eyesight for tight tolerances • Knowledge of short-circuit and spray-transfer modes • Comfortable welding mild steel, stainless and aluminium On the job you will handle: • Strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc • Control distortion with a balanced welding sequence • Check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration • Set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness • Maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose Full-time with occasional weekends. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Walk-in interviews this week.
