CNC mill setter-operator — Arkansas County

Now hiring: we are hiring a CNC mill setter-operator in Arkansas County, Arkansas. You should have: • Physically fit to stand and lift workpieces • Knows feeds, speeds and tooling for steel, aluminium and cast iron • 2-3 years' hands-on milling experience The role involves: • Hold close tolerances down to ±0.02 mm • Set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe • Apply cutting coolant and clear swarf from the machine bed • Machine slots, pockets, flats, keyways and contours to drawing • Set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter • Mount workpieces in machine vices, clamps and fixtures and check for square A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew.
