Rigger — Trigg County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a rigger in Trigg County, Kentucky. You will be based at a shipyard. What we are looking for: • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket • Sharp eye for safety and hazard awareness The role involves: • Calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift • Fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads • Establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area • Take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings • Direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio We offer $18 per hour plus benefits.
