Offshore rigger — Martin County

We are recruiting: we are hiring an offshore rigger in Martin County, Indiana. You will work at a shipyard. You should have: • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles On a typical shift you will take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings; secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists; attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks; inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use; direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio; guide loads through tight openings into their final position. Six days a week, one day off. Performance bonus on top of base pay. We offer $4,500 per month plus benefits. Contact us to fix an interview.
