Core maker — Banks County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a core maker in Banks County, Georgia. Day to day you will assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together; skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring; check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring; shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale. What we are looking for: • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor Pay around $3,000 per month, based on your experience. Meals and transport allowance provided. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
