Immediate opening: we are hiring an overlocker operator in Martin County, Texas. You should have: • Can hit the daily piece-rate target consistently • Knows how to set tension, change needles and do basic machine maintenance • Hands-on with single needle, overlock and flatlock machines The role involves: • Inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes • Operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line • Press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges • Thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension • Set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
