Requirements: • Able to work to deadlines in a busy workshop • Accurate measuring and squaring to within a couple of millimetres Day-to-day duties: • Read the cutting list and optimisation sheet and label each profile • Insert galvanised steel reinforcement into the profile chambers and screw-fix it • Cut uPVC profiles to size on a double-mitre saw at 45 degrees • Fuse-weld frame and sash corners on the welding machine and check the weld seam Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
