Commercial refrigeration engineer — Modoc County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a commercial refrigeration engineer in Modoc County, California. The job is at a food processing plant. Ideal candidate: • ITI or diploma in refrigeration / RAC trade • Comfortable handling refrigerant gases and gauge manifolds Day-to-day duties: • Braze copper pipework and joints with an oxy-acetylene torch • Trace leaks with an electronic detector and soap solution • Trace electrical circuits with a multimeter • Measure the compressor motor's amperage draw with a clamp meter • Replace compressors, filter driers and expansion valves • Wire up thermostats, contactors and overload relays A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew.
