Excavator operator — Newton County

Join our team: we are hiring an excavator operator in Newton County, Missouri. You will be based in an open-cast mine. The role involves load trucks with spoil, aggregate and overburden using the bucket; read site drawings and follow the batter and slope profiles; load and unload the machine on and off the low-loader safely; keep a safe distance from excavation edges and overhead lines; check for underground cables and services before digging. Requirements: • Knowledge of pre-start inspections and basic machine maintenance • Minimum 2-3 years' experience operating earthmoving machinery • Valid heavy equipment / plant operator licence Overtime paid at a premium rate.
