Immediate opening: lorry driver (North Carolina)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a lorry driver in Moore County, North Carolina. You will be based at a busy distribution depot. What we are looking for: • Minimum 2 years' long-haul experience • Physically fit for long hours behind the wheel On a typical shift you will check load weight and axle distribution against permitted limits; plan routes and rest stops in line with driving-hours rules; present documents at weighbridges and check posts; operate tail-lifts and pump trucks during loading and unloading; couple and uncouple the trailer and check the fifth-wheel lock; secure loads with ratchet straps, chains and load bars. At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time with occasional weekends. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. $5,400 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
