Painter and decorator wanted in Herkimer County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a painter and decorator in Herkimer County, New York. You will be based in a factory paint shop. You will prep and prime metal, treating rust with red-oxide primer; measure up and work out paint and material quantities; mask off windows, skirting and fittings with tape and sheeting; cut in neat edges along ceilings, cornices and door frames; apply primer, undercoat and two topcoats with brush and roller. Ideal candidate: • Working-at-height / PASMA scaffold ticket an advantage • Able to read colour schedules and follow a finish spec Overtime paid at a premium rate. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
