Gas meter installer • Braxton County, West Virginia

Immediate opening: we are hiring a gas meter installer in Braxton County, West Virginia. You will be based at a boiler and appliance service centre. The role involves check every joint for leaks with soapy water and leak-detection spray; fix pipe clips, brackets and wall sleeves and sleeve pipe through walls; connect combi boilers, water heaters and gas cookers to the supply; locate and repair gas leaks and replace corroded pipe sections; run polyethylene (PE) service pipe and electrofusion-weld the joints. Ideal candidate: • Able to read isometric and site drawings • Valid gas fitter's licence and Gas Safe (or local) registration • Sound knowledge of gas safety regulations and pressure testing Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
