Baker — Dickinson County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a baker in Dickinson County, Michigan. You will be based in a hotel pastry kitchen. You will pipe and fill cakes, pastries and cream rolls; load and unload the deck oven with a peel; roll out short-crust and biscuit dough; laminate puff and croissant dough by folding in the butter; knead and develop dough by hand and in the spiral mixer; prove dough in the proofer at the right temperature and humidity. You should have: • Able to work early-morning and night shifts • Understanding of food-safety and HACCP basics • Accurate at weighing and following recipes Pay around $24 per hour, based on your experience.
