Cnc lathe operator — Anson County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a cnc lathe operator in Anson County, North Carolina. The job is at a busy machine shop. Day-to-day duties: • Run facing, turning, boring, grooving and threading cycles • Read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T tolerances • Load and index turning tools in the turret • Watch the machine through the cycle and clear alarms or crashes • Change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear • Write and edit G-code programs at the control You should have: • ITI / NCVT certificate in the machinist (turner) trade preferred • Able to hold tolerances to ±0.01 mm • Confident with micrometers, vernier calipers and bore gauges 3+ years on the tools preferred. Rotating shifts. $4,300 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
