Groundsman — Marion County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a groundsman in Marion County, Texas. The job is at a plant nursery. Day to day you will weed flower beds and borders by hand and with a hoe; prune hedges, shrubs and ornamental trees with secateurs and hedge trimmers; mow and edge lawns with petrol and ride-on mowers; sharpen, clean and oil hand tools and mower blades; dig over and turn the soil and prepare seedbeds. Requirements: • Happy to work outdoors in all weather • Physically fit for bending, lifting and long hours outdoors • Previous experience as a gardener or in grounds maintenance Full-time with occasional weekends.
