What we are looking for: • Basic knowledge of hand tools like shovel, trowel and breaker • Site safety induction or labour card an advantage • Wear safety helmet, boots and gloves at all times The role involves: • Load and unload trucks of cement, steel bar and aggregate • Backfill and ram down soil around the foundations • Pour and spread concrete, then compact it with a poker vibrator • Carry bricks, cement bags and sand up to the masons on site • Dig foundation trenches and pits with pick and shovel • Stack and store materials safely to avoid wastage At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
