Immediate opening: we are hiring a hydraulic press operator in Brown County, Illinois. On the job you will handle: • Clear scrap and offcuts from the die area • Adjust press stroke, shut height and tonnage settings • Apply die lubricant and keep the tooling clean • Punch, blank, pierce, bend and form sheet metal components Ideal candidate: • Basic understanding of metal grades and thicknesses • Can use vernier calipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges • Knowledge of press safety, guarding and lockout-tagout Part-time with flexible hours.
