You should have: • Physically fit for repeated heavy lifting of tubes and boards • Reliable, punctual and able to work in a gang Your main tasks: • Lay scaffold boards and secure them with board retaining clips • Hoist tubes, boards and fittings up by gin wheel and rope • Set out base plates and sole boards on firm, level ground • Handle, sort and stack tubes and fittings for loading out • Tie the scaffold back to the building with through-ties and anchors • Install ladder access and ladder gates between the lifts Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
