Sample machinist wanted in Yuma County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a sample machinist in Yuma County, Colorado. You will be based in a small denim manufacturing unit. Day to day you will sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required; attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet; set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers; thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension; meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality; operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line. Requirements: • ITI / tailoring certificate is a plus • Knows how to set tension, change needles and do basic machine maintenance Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
