Lift erector — Caldwell County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a lift erector in Caldwell County, Texas. You will work at a shopping mall with escalators and lifts. On a typical shift you will top up the oil and bleed the cylinder on hydraulic lifts; rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables; adjust door operator timing and re-levelling accuracy; set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear; respond to entrapment call-outs and release trapped passengers; install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway. Ideal candidate: • Ability to read electrical and wiring schematics • Comfortable working at height and in confined hoistways Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
