The role involves: • Mask off windows, skirting and fittings with tape and sheeting • Sand and fill walls before applying primer • Mix and tint paint to match colour swatches • Clean brushes, rollers and spray kit with thinners after each job • Apply primer, undercoat and two topcoats with brush and roller • Apply textured and weatherproof masonry coatings to exterior walls Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of surface prep and the right primers • 2+ years experience as a painter and decorator Pay around $3,900 per month, based on your experience.
