Plant operator — Union County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a plant operator in Union County, Mississippi. You will work on an earthmoving and excavation site. What we are looking for: • Valid heavy equipment / plant operator licence • Minimum 2-3 years' experience operating earthmoving machinery Day-to-day duties: • Carry out daily pre-start checks on engine oil, coolant, hydraulic fluid and track tension • Grease the pins, bushings and slew ring at the start of each shift • Level and grade the road sub-base to the surveyor's pegs and string lines • Read site drawings and follow the batter and slope profiles • Top up diesel, inspect hydraulic hoses for leaks and report defects • Keep a safe distance from excavation edges and overhead lines Part-time with flexible hours. $140 per day, negotiable for the right hands.
