Warehouse forklift operator wanted in Steuben County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a warehouse forklift operator in Steuben County, New York. You will be based on a factory shop floor. On a typical shift you will sweep and keep the loading bay free of debris; read the load capacity plate and never exceed the rated lift limit; load and unload pallets from trucks and shipping containers; position the forks square and tilt the mast to secure the load; keep gangways clear and observe the site speed limit. Ideal candidate: • Good awareness of load stability and health and safety • Accurate, careful stock handling • Willing to wear steel toe-cap boots and hi-vis Six days a week, one day off. $26 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
