Plastering hand wanted in Stokes County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a plastering hand in Stokes County, North Carolina. You will be based in a refurbishment property. What we are looking for: • CSCS card or willing to obtain one • Good head for heights for ceiling and stairwell work • Willing to work on both new build and refurbishment sites The role involves: • Dub out hollows and uneven areas before skimming • Mix gypsum plaster and cement render to a workable consistency • Apply tanking and renovating plaster to damp walls • Tape and joint plasterboard seams with scrim and filler • Polish the final coat with a steel trowel and water brush • Clean trowels, buckets and mixers before the plaster sets Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. $4,300 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
