Join our team: we are hiring a head guard / security supervisor in Appomattox County, Virginia. The job is at a hotel entrance. On a typical shift you will respond to intrusion alarms and panic alerts; man the entry gate and check visitor IDs and gate passes; raise the alarm and follow the evacuation drill in an emergency; hand over the duty register and brief the next shift at handover; operate the boom barrier and check vehicles in and out; operate the metal detector and hand-held scanner at the door. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit and able to stand for long hours • Clean police verification with no criminal record • Valid PSARA / security guard licence At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
