Now hiring: we are hiring a rigger in Parke County, Indiana. You will work at a busy construction site. On the job you will handle: • Fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads • Rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position • Establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area • Guide loads through tight openings into their final position • Direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio • Secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists What we are looking for: • Comfortable working at height and in confined spaces • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles Meals and transport allowance provided.
